OK - So it looks like (from 67Azcruizr's post)we have some sample material to work with that could have been "off the shelf". Having that particular die made would have been expensive and locating it, it that is the case, will be key. My hunch is that it was not made. In any case, this stuff will need to be mitered and bonded to be really good. Can someone send me a sample of this repro piece and samples of the old, complete factory pieces? All will be returned as received.

Sounds like there are two sizes as well. We'll figure it out.

Good News!

Heard back from Robert yesterday and he is still in business! He just changed website hosts so his new address is

http://fj40bugcatcher.dyndns.org:8081/

I am ordering two sets now

I actually got the corners to fit nice and tight and so far have not glued them.I havent been thru any big rain storms but it seems pretty weather tight.I was surprised by the fit and finish, this is the best solution out on the market.

I guess I missed this one entirely.....Robert is no longer selling the weatherstrip per an email I received a few weeks ago.

I tried to buy some from him this past spring, but he just stopped responding to my e-mails and phone calls. Too bad to, I knew someone local to him who was willing to go and pick it up for me right away, and pay him in cash.
