Bands move on, break up, morph, re-form; people leave, die, do something else, etc. I agree that I wish everything stayed as it was at the pinnacle but things change. Just the way it is. I first saw Panic in 91 and at well over 100 shows later, they are hitting on all cyclinders right now, for the first time in a long time.

Here's a Youtube link to a brute song the boys played live one NYE. I was there, it was awesome. You can get your Mikey fix too.

Yeah, over the years I've let my prejudices cause me to miss a lot of good music.
I didn't listen to GD throughout the seventies. When I picked them back up I saw they had gone on to some interesting things. If you haven't read the Phil Lesh book it gives some insight into why some years are so much better than others.
Speaking of: the Phil and Friends concert at MSG in NYC during the blizzard several years ago with Trey and Joan Osborne is as good/often better GD than most of the classic GD tapes. Trey really pays homage. Joan is perfect, if they had her instead of that squalling Donna Godchaux in the 70's that would have been their best years. Saw Joan with P&F at Bonnaroo coupla times. When she's not singing she dances. So hot.
ABB with Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes at C'lotte several years ago is as good or better than The Bros ever were 'in the day'. But I just hate that a'hole Gregg.

I have that Cobalt CD. Never listened much, to me it's like WSP as studio musicians for somebody elses stuff. And no jamming. I guess I should dig it out and listen more.

Sure miss Phish though. If Oysterhead would tour more that would make up for it. Claypool is the sickest musician I've seen ever, and I've seen most of the originals. And it'd be nice if Cheese would get in this area more often.

So how do I find this UC server?

Send me a pm with a user name and a password you want to use.

I have a terabyte server with about 150gig of music. Not super fast but good enough. I'll set you up a folder. You can upload aod download whatever you want. All I ask is to add some stuff and try to only use it after 5 on the weekdays, weekends are anytime. It's on my T-1 and I use it heavily during work hrs for work related things.

Also you will have access to all of UC files. Tech files, photos etc.
