Finally got a check engine light. PO130 and PO171. Knew exactly what it was because I was given a new intake hose from the PO but never put it on since there was no CEL at the time.

Well after a 2950 trip it finally gave up the ghost. But it’s funny, upon doing the autopsy I found something that may make me rethink the turbo. Why am I going thru all of this headache when I could just transfer this power multiplier to the new intake hose!!?!

...that will be on the truck for all of two weeks?

Come on Joey!
Everyone knows you need three of those in series to beat a turbo.
Put some magnets on the gas lines too to align the fuel molecules and SEMA won't know what hit em!

I never had any luck with the clip - maybe mine was a inferior non-OEM one.
Or maybe I had the wrong PN# one for my 1FZ, IDK.
===However, the magnets taped to the fuel line added an unbelievable MPG increase................

It should be a source of pride you don’t know what it is.
It’s a “airflow vortex corrector” - the scam was a whirling pattern to the air was going to promote better MPG’s.

That was to help vapor lock, and kinda, sorta did. I can’t say I miss carburetors.
