And, while you're in create mode, I'll toss one more idea out there. I'd love (to buy) some covers for the holes left in the floor and fenders when the 3rd row seats are removed. The '14 you have would show that problem, since the 200s are all the same there.

This will be another thread. There is stage one of this and stage two of it ;)

We use our third row seats, and will need them for at least five more years. I've thought it'd be cool to have a removable drawer unit that could sit between the third row seats when in their folded position. Probably not much market for that, though.

:meh:

I'll break down and buy a 200 Series at some point. I need it to be cheaper though. I just don't spend money on depreciating assets like that anymore. Kids and their stupid college!

Agree! Been thinking about it quite hard over the past year. Have a couple guys offering top dollar for my rig. Not doing it...I can afford it, but I think I'll wait till the 300 is out for a while and the market gets a bit saturated with 200s. Very nice rigs...good luck to all!

300?! Is there something I missed?!

It's coming...couple years max. No real intel here though...:(

Agree on depreciation purchase. For me, Used is the way to go! Let someone else eat the massive initial depreciation... Then it's like buying a new mmiddle-of-the-road car. Bought mine with only 48k miles on it for $39000 and it's perfect.

I think the 200 series is just about to enter it's "modding prime."

I have an app that alerts me to any and all dealer-offered used 200's, and they are popping up like crazy! Once the 300 does hit? It'll be sweet times for modders buying used, as all the mall cruisers with big $ look to upgrade and sell their unblemished 200's. I've seen a real uptick in used offerings already.

Agreed. I don't plan on selling it once I buy it but I just could justify that kind of money on a vehicle. Which, when you think about it, is kind of funny. I bought my 92 new. I bought my 03 Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Taco new. It just pains me to see something depreciate so much, so fast. I think a 13 is about the sweet spot of that. Granted I will have to go out of Iowa to find one. My local dealer has sold 4 16s this year. The previous four years they sold one per year! Just not a big market here. Which is fine because of rust anyway. I'm not spending $40k+ on something that's been rolling around in salt water for 4-5 years.

I probably should've snagged that one up and regret it. Of course, an hour after I left the dealer my mother in law called me to tell me she lost her job. She was a recruiter that placed independent contractors in the military. Seven years and she was told "we can't hire anyone per executive order" so her employer said "when/if things change we'll bring you back". Awesome. I already know this means I'll be supporting her. Again.

Anyone looking for a used mother in law? High miles. Temperamental. Excellent cook. Aftermarket upgrades. :bang:
