I am actually happy my glove box did not get here when I thought it would. I was going to powder coat it wrinkle black with my glove box door, b pillars and all the other junk. After spending some serious time working inside the 60 with the dark tinted windows rolled up It became apparent that light tan wrinkle or maybe even the 40 series silver pewter color would be a better choice. It’s hard to se inside a black glove box from the driver seat with glasses on.
If I purchase one I will send a pic your way and see it it works ok. Are they in stock again? I heard you had made 10 and then stopped? Maybe I'm just confused on the thread.

Makes sense. The doors typically last and don't get damaged. Though mine has a dent from a knee hitting it. Still functions just fine though, and if I were to replace it I'd definitely want the OEM decals still there.Thanks. I’m not 100% doing the doors. Interest has been tiny.
That said, I'm hoping my tax return will allow me to get a mirror mount and glove box insert. My cardboard one is on its last legs.

Sorry folks, another hiccup. Delivery was SUPPOSED to happen today. I arranged everything with the terminal about what type of vehicle is required (40ft or smaller) and the type of building (residential). The 53ft truck showed up at the bottom of the hill I lived at and turned around. No call, no nothing. Called terminal and the next available delivery, with the correct truck, would be Monday.
I'm very sorry everyone. This one is totally out of my control. Had the driver just called me I could have went two blocks to him and just loaded it into my truck

All good dude and you communicate better than some, which pretty much everyone will appreciate. Unfortunately, logic really doesn't occur to some people.... try working in the government and explaining s*** like this to people (contractors or non-state employees)... (No I can't allow you to "make up" your sick time because you're a contractor and we don't pay your sick. You went home sick, so that's on you. No you can't "flex" that time later today to make up for some of it.. blah blah blah.. Literally an argument I had with a contractor this afternoon.)I’m just sooooooo frustrated.

This is the first piece I’ve ever done where I’m shipping it without putting some type of finish on it. Admittedly, I hate it. I mean I really hate it. But I understand why everyone wanted it in raw aluminum. You can customize as you see fit. It’s just making my OCD rage
