Can some one tell me about the wiper switch on a 1967 FJ45LWP?

The wiper harness I have is a two speed harness. The switch that came with it is a three terminal switch but only seems to have one position. When I turn the switch to the right it clicks once and I have continuity from the B+ to both the output pins not just one like I expected? There does not seem to be a second position on this switch.

Can someone confirm these wiper switches do have two positions and I just have a defective switch?

I believe they only have one position, at least that has been my experience. The '67 wiper motors have two + terminals on them, I believe so the motor returns to rest position once off. But honestly I am terrible with wiring so might be best for some one more qualified to chime in :grinpimp:

Thank you! I was about to disassemble the switch thinking it was defective! So they are not two speed wipers, but one speed with the auto return.
I don't own this truck, just building a wiper harness for it and was trying to test it out. Was driving me nuts and no amount of searching revealed anything...
