Windshield rests fj40 1970

just sold a one piece hood and got a two piece for my 1970 fj40. i was told my rests were really for a 70's 2-piece but the holes dont match up. Anyone have something different on a 70's hood, know what the origionals were?

You need the bumper pads with the longer second step... I think the one you have was 72-74 hood pads

I could be wrong ... but... I think the flat hood pad and the longer step pads had the same hole spacing

72 was a one piece hood. 71 was the last model year of the two piece hood.
