Just wanted to comment here with respect to slow window operation. I had a slow Passenger front window and I thought it might speed up and quiet down with a new run and a new clean regulator as these part are way cheaper than a new motor. I was wrong, in my case installing these made little to no difference.

Disappointed I pulled everything apart again and this time I dissembled the motor (only three screws) and cleaned it well with electronic parts cleaner. lightly greased the internal motor shaft and wow the window is now my fastest and quietest.

I was also happy to see the brushes are replaceable without need to solder them! On a rainy day ill look for replacement brushes to have on hand for 100k miles down the road.

Looking for some insight on periodic rear window issues. After a solid rain, they are very slow to rise, and sometimes totally stop. I have cleaned tracks and sprayed with silicone lube, with little improvement until everything dries out again.

Searching for alternatives has me looking at either replacing tracks with new or pulling motors and cleaning with contact cleaner. I pulled the door cards this week and found some other to-dos (had been opened without proper vapor barrier replacement…) and am all ears on what has worked for people.
