Will lugnuts torqued to 110 ftlbs hurt them?

Torque for steel wheel 109 lb-ft

Torque for Alluminum wheel 76 lb-ft

Also on pages SA-110 and SA-111 (suspension service specs)

I recently got my 96 cruiser back from a toyota dealer after they did a service to it. The torque on the wheels was definatly over 100 ft/lbs. I don't have a torque wrench but me weighing in at a trim 240 lbs. standing on a foot and a half wrench and bouncing to get the lugs loosened equals alot more than the 100 ft/lbs.

You can also find these specs in the dinky owners manual in the glove box. Somewhere at the back.

BTW, I think Brodis's biggest gripe, and he's not letting on to it, is that @ 110 lbs, he doesn't have the strength to get them off :princess: :flipoff2:
