I know this isn't going to be an easy one for you guys but lets see if you can help.
I know this has been questionable for a long time on if you can utilize a certain factory pressure plate and disk or if you need the centerforce short throw. I have searched and found that it talked about the multi fingered pressure plates etc.etc. etc. but ??

Here are a couple pics

I found this pressure plate and disk for free and they are almost brand new so if they would work i would like to use them if not I will need to get an order placed.

The part number on the pressure plate is CA0761 E29H1
The pressure plate also has junk yard marker writing on it that i think says 92 S-10 4.3

Thanks

I just ordered the two above items together, as well as a flywheel to match the diaphragm unit.

Thanks - are you hoping it works or are you replacing in kind to what has been working for you? Also are you planning to use the land cruiser throwout bearing? (I believe it may be larger and helps with the needed increased throw.....) I just hate to have to do this twice!

i did my wifes 69 this summer and used a gm 11" clutch like yours.i also used the toyota to bearing but had to make it a little shorter for clearance .other than that it worked fine for me .i put a 400 sbc in front of a 74 4 speed good luck
