We had a lot of rain last Winter. Snow in the mountains causes this area (Chiva Falls) to flood. I had two amazing trips there last winter. I haven't added these to my webiste yet but here's a shot from that trip. Basically we went from the Chiva Falls Trail up Tanque Verde Creek to the Pools. We were in the creek for several minutes total. There were 5 or 6 times I was in this deep and was in this deep for up to a minute at a time:

Great trip with the Rovers. We went to the base of the pools. Leo's Defender was amazing.

You guys are crazy going through the water in an 80 like that. If the inside gets wet that is, soggy carpet doesn't smell too good. If not, I'm all for it. Kick ass, keep em comin, my hard drives got lost more room .

As everyone can plainly see by the clears and moonglow pearl, that is my 80. It was supoooooooosed to be a secret dumbass!

I have always hated that color....until I see how it looks with the orange markers off it . Badass.

I remember mountain biking through that wash rrr trying to ;p I miss Tucson! Nice shots!

These are great videos. Not sure why I didnt see any Rovers... I saw jeeps (XJs and CJs), broncos, and a kazillion cruisers. I wonder if this is a testament to what racers prefer to run...
