Haha nice. I've been meaning to build an off-road trailer. I'm sure you pull it just fine. What do you use as a hitch?

Hi Guys,

Thought I would throw in a couple of mine. I jumped into your forum for some info from your Tech section (thank BTW) you have some fantastic pic's there.

Only thing I have to get used to is seeing you all hanging out the "wrong" side of the vehicle...;p;p;p

And just in case you didn't note the driver location on my pics, I live sout Queensland Australia.

Also thought you may be interested in a similar thread from an Aussy forum. not quite as long as yours as yet though. 80 Series Thread!!!!!! - Page 15 - Australian 4WD Monthly Online Forums

..:: Bienvenidos a Fun Race 4x4 2005 ::..
I'm sure most of you know about the Fun Race 4x4 in Venezuela. They have different classes and they race throughout Venezuela. They have some pretty amazing trucks and go through some pretty tough obstacles considering the biggest tire permitted is a 33". Anyway, they have hudreds of great pics on their web site. Some are areal photos from a helicopter, plus there is amazing scenery. If you don't read spanish, the site is a little harder to navigate, but they have literally hundreds of wild pics. The event is put on by Toyota, so most of the trucks are 70 and 80 series landcruisers. Check them out.

My goal is to go down there and buy a 2007 80 (oh yes, they made them there until 2007) and outfit it and compete in the race, then drive the truck back to the states. I've seen parts of the race in person and when I was living there, it came on TV.

... then drive the truck back to the states.

Sounds like fun but be sure you understand the legal issues before you plunk down your money with plans to drive the truck across the US border.
