Some have had or know of problems with their tires. Were they the "P" rated tires or "LT" rated? The RVT tire line came in "P" and "LT" rated tires. The "P" were very cheap and many would run them (including me) on a truck that SHOULD OF had "LT" rated tires.
I have run them for 20 years now and had only good luck with them unless I get lazy and don't rotate them.
I know of one person that had a belt go bad. He used his truck to haul concrete forms (very heavy). I didn't check to see if they were "P" rated tires or "LT" rated.
If they were "LT" they might of not been rated for the weight he was hauling.
I always ran P235/75/15 on my HiLux X-cab 4x4. I ran them in CO. I would haul more than they were rated for hauling fire would out of the mountians. I got 60+k mi out of them.
Unless someone can tell my why I shouldn't run them I will buy another set this fall for the 80.
I have once got a set of All-seasons and got stuck in deep snow. I would be hard pressed to get another set of non-lug (mud) tires.
