Wierd electronic feedback sound from cargo area

My 97 LX450 exhibits a wierd sound from the back of the rig, almost like an electronic feedback sound. It seems to show up after I accelerate from a stop sign and then let off the gas to cruise. Is this the fuel pump making some sound? Should I be worried? I've only it one week, so it may be a "normal" sound to this rig that the IPO (Idiot PO) never told me about.........

Sounds like a bad or cheap aftermarket pump.
Pull back the carpet and find the access hole for the fuel pump, open it and see if the noise it there,
THe pump should be quiet.

Mine makes a whistling sound from the exhaust under acceleration, is that what you are hearing? It's normal, many posts about it, search for exhaust whistle.
