Just to clarify, I would be wanting a 4.7 version. Thanks

90 FJ62 A440, stock case. I'd like the 4.7:1 toybox.

Anything happening on this?

5 speed H55F, stock case, 2.28:1 toybox ratio. Late 1985 model US-spec FJ60.

Email me at dshock59@yahoo.com for info, updates or payment.

Thanks,
Dan

I want a 4.7 for my '88 62 with stock tc and A440. Talked to Marlin for about an hour, half of that under my truck, at Bakersfield last weekend. He affirmed they want to build these.

That is great news. By the time they actually have them made I'll have my 88 Fj62 SOA finished.

Just to reiterate, in the next year I intend to purchase a toybox in 4.70 to 1 for a 16 spline output H42 and a 16 or 19 spline split case.

As soon as I sell my old Cadillac I am going to call Marlin with that intent. Hell, I'll need a seal and bearing kit for the trans and t-case also.

Has anyone received any news from Dave at MC regarding parts availability for a H42 19 spline with split t-case in a 4.70: ratio?

I'm ready to purchase yesterday?

Worth the wait.......

Last I heard, nothing had changed. I suspect that once Marlin takes the plunge it would take 3-4 months just to get production up and running. I'm bummed, my HZJ79 project is moving forward and I suspect the crawler won't be ready. I'm trying to wait; but might have to start looking toward 203 or Mark's Gears. Neither are impressive.

Heard initial they were waiting on some parts (output shaft / gears?). Seem like they could source the part from some other company?

If that is the case, their must be more to the story. They have a line of people ready to order on this thread and the thread in the 40 forum.

I'll keep my eyes open then. Anyone think it's worth while to make a phone call or is this news fairly fresh?

join the club. I went so far as to pick up an 80 series axle which isn't offset so much so as to open up the possibility of centered output transfercases. (atlas?)

If Marllin was selling, I'd buy two RIGHT NOW. As Andy said at dinner one night, Marlin's arguably leaving money on the table., and if it was upfront cash required, he'd likely find enough cruiser guys wanting the part to make happen what needs to happen. It's not like cruiser guys would be all that worried about giving Marlin of all people some money up front to get something taken care of...
