Everyone says that Costco has the Interstate batteries for a decent price...and they appear to be cheaper by far. The battery in my 100 is almost toast.....

Interstate Batteries - Car, Truck & Marine Batteries

Anyone have a local Costco and headed to AVL anytime soon? ;-)

Call your local interstate store. Normally they have Blems for super cheap. Got one for the LS for $35

Exactly, thanks! When I was trying to take off the severely corroded positive terminal the terminal broke and I also can’t get the screw off the terminal. Shot it with some PB blaster and we will see if that helps in a bit.

Replace that terminal. That was an issue I had with my 100. The connection between the battery and that small adjacent fuse block had corroded. My truck would randomly stop charging and would cut off. Found the corroded junction and bought a new Toyota battery terminal connector. When I went to replace the connector, it came apart in my hands. Since putting the new one on, no more issues. A year and a half ago. I would put plenty of grease on the joints and on the connectors.

I was able to do that yesterday. I had to take it to my neighbors house who had an impact wrench and we were able to get the old one off. They had a terminal at Interstate and it worked perfect.

Blem?

Yes. They said their blemished batteries are brand new but they come with some type of visual scratch, etc from the factory and they can’t sell them as new. It looked new...I am going to pick another one up for my wife’s GX.
