Spring spacers? How safe is that?

As safe as the OEM arrangement. It doesn't change the basics, just lifts the body.

Another question. Just in case the 30mm spacer is not enough to bring the rear AHC pressure back to the spec, and also to prepare for the future more load, I'm also thinking about to install the Air Lift 1000 at the same time. Is it a good practice to have both the 30mm spacer and the air spring?

Assuming the spring bump stop cone on the top has to be removed to install the air spring, would it cause the spacer won't stay in the place? Should the spacer be secured in any way such as zip tie?

IMO, air bags are for variable loads. IE Towing or unusually heavy load outs like a dirt bike on the hitch or something.

If you just need more spring for the car 24/7, you need new (stiffer) springs.

You can check pressure and figure this out real easy. 30mm spacers raise pressure ~.5 Mpa. King springs raise pressure ~3 Mpa. Figure out which gets you closer to in spec and there's you're answer.

When re-indexed the TB in Feb, it was 6.6 front 7.4 rear but without disconnecting the temp sensor. Assuming it might be 7.0 rear if disconnecting the temp sensor ( although I doubt), the 30mm spacer could lower the rear to 6.5 which is still at the high side.

Thought about stiffer spring before, however has the concern if stiffer spring might have negative impact to AHC. That's why want to keep the AHC spring but have something to offset the extra weight. Spring spacer is one of such but not enough in this case as we also have to maintain enough room for the spring to compress. Thought the air spring might do the same with higher load shifting? Or which stiffer spring may be the best choice which is also good to the AHC system?

Look Into king ktrs 79 springs. They are are little bit stiffer than the standard LX springs, 120 pounds per inch vs 90 on the standard lx Springs and the land cruiser Springs are 180 pounds per inch they will be far to stiff and you will hate way the truck rides if you install standard non ahc springs.
Is that still true and recommended?
