Does anyone have suggestions? I’m doing globes on my 2005 and I’m thinking she’ll need rear springs too. 225k on the truck. I was thinking factory springs l, but impex doesn’t have them both. Any suggestions on who has the best deal or even an alternative to factory?

Following along. I was thinking this same thing. My ride is pretty bouncy at 365k. I’ve got the globes but thinking I may need to do the coils as well.

Are you doing globes yourself? I can’t find anyone to do them

Lots of places have them. Ironman, OME, etc.
Not really. The lx has ahc and I want factory rate and length. If they’re too long, the ahc won’t be the correct height and then pressure as a result. Too stiff and the rear will be too bouncy and not ride as well. So I’m looking for factory lx springs, new, or a comparable aftermarket with same height that others have experience with.

There’s a bunch of posts about this and some YouTube videos.

What makes you think you are needing new springs? Are your pressures out of spec? If your rear pressures are too high then 30mm spacers are the way to go for a stock truck. If you have some weight in the back, King KTRS-79 springs have been well reviewed as a slightly stiffer alternative between the factory LX springs and he factory LC springs. Replacement OEM springs are also an option. You can message Impex and ask if they have a quote for both sides if they are not showing them in stock.

I have AHC and 30mm spacers in my truck and I can tell you it does not affect AHC function. Adjust the sensors accordingly and you'll be just like factory.

Thanks Man. I don’t know how much my springs have sagged, so I wasn’t sure if 30’s were enough or too much. I’m doing globes and wanted everything to be 100%. I can’t find the spring comparison. I’ll write impex. They have rr but not r left rears in stock.

I've got AHC too, I understand how this works. 30mm AHC coil spacers are not a radical concept. Alone they will lower your rear pressure by about a half point, combined with adjusting your torsion bars they will get your pressures back in spec if you aren't carrying a lot of extra weight. Don't waste your money on new OEM coils.

Ok. Who has rear coil spacers?

FWIW - the PO of my '99 LX replaced the rear springs and added 30mm spacers to get the AHC pressures correct (and they have stayed there, years later). The truck had 300K miles on it at the time. The old springs were not rusted, but (perhaps) were tired.
