I have looked and looked. i can't seem to find an aftermarket replacement for my 2001 land cruiser. my rear coil spring buckets are rusted out to the point of failure on one side. does anyone know of a fabrication company that makes these?

Rustbuster.com sells spring buckets... (Taco's, 4runners etc) not sure of size and fit, but it's a start when something is better than nothing.
A good welding shop could most likely fabricate a proper fitment.

thanks for the suggestion. they don't do land cruiser unfortunately. sadly google hasn't been very helpful. my hope it find a fabricator that already has the pattern. mine are so far gone that i was hoping to find someone that already had a pair made to sell.

Just order a set and that will give you a base for what you will need. A welder can expand the top mount surface to center fit the bucket to LC specs... I can't imagine needing more than 3 inches in either direction of a flat surface/L flange

Numerous times I have used a frame cap/repair piece for one vehicle, modified and fitted to another... it just takes a little time and effort.

thanks for the suggestion. i will get the measurements to the original and see what the fabricator thinks. i have limited options for welders. i am in a small town in alaska and most of the welders are fabricating boats and construction equipment and avoid cars. i finally found one to do the work. he said 3-4 hours if i find the part. i also have to rent car lift and pay mechanic to drop gas tank and reinstall. so i want to get this right the first try. it's gonna be pricey. i am at 285K miles, i was really hoping to see it roll 300K

80, 100, 200 and first gen Sequoia (possibly others) all used the same top and bottom register for the rear coils.

I have OEM style 80 series (same coil dims as 100 coils) new stamped lower coil buckets. You would need to radius them to match the 100 axle profile, but easy enough.

I can send pics on Monday of them.

150.00 a pair plus 15.00 shipping to AK via USPS Priority.

Not sure of your distance from Ankorage or Fairbanks... My son was stationed at Eielson... They had a shop on base that did a lot of metal work on their own vehicles... may want to inquire at a nearby base...

unfortunately i am on an island so limited options. i finally have a welder that has a relationship with a shop with a car lift. my hurdle was finding a the part to weld in with the least amount of modification.

i should have specified. i am looking for the upper buckets that weld to the frame.

I should have clarified. i am looking for the rear upper coil buckets for a 2001 land cruiser. they would be welded to the frame.

I just threw away a rear upper frame section that was rust free.
OUCH!!! Us rust belters scrape and scrounge for every rust free piece we can get out hands on!
