Late last year my Lexus decided it was due for a new harmonic balancer and proceeded to eject the outer ring into the engine. This has caused a whole heck of a mess as you might imagine. Crank position sensor was broken off so it now needs either an upper oil pan or a timing cover. I plan on pulling the engine to do this. The truck has had a rack recently and a timing belt. Other than those two items what should I be looking at replacing while it is out? Any pro tips on pulling the engine would be much appreciated.

Engine mounts. Would be a great time to do headers, if you’re inclined. Starter would sure be a lot easier, but far from necessary.

exhaust manifolds, starter and orings and sensor under the intake

Rear main seals and valley seals.
