Go to an automotive paint supply store (theres a Sherwin Williams auto supply store in Greensboro, NC, so they have to be elsewhere). Give them your paint code, and see if they will put it in a rattle can. I had a can of 045 (single stage white), for about 20 or 25 bucks. He said they could have also done it in base coat/clear coat (with two cans). the paint match was excellent, and the coverage was nice. I sprayed a new turn signal filler panel that I replaced. Now that it's warming up, I'll try to touch up my flares, and some other spots where the new paint will be more visible.
Metallics and other wierd mixes are a little harder to spray to get uniform and matching coverage.
Go to walmart and get a couple of candle warmers, and set your paint cans on. Shake them, and put them back on the warmer. When the cans are uniformly warm, almost hot, is when you want to spray. Shake the heck of the cans (i try to shake for a complete song playing on my phone). The heat causes the paint to mix better, and atomize better coming out of the nozzle. It will lay flatter/more even, and provide better coverage.
