Dinner at Harbor Seafood and breakfast at Cafe DuMonde is hard to beat.

I never go here in normal times for breakfast. Too many people. This am early I was almost alone on the patio.

NOLA is dead this week. Lowest time of the season. 27th floor river view at Westin $120

Hit up Cochun Butcher before you leave. Get the Le Pig Mac

The picture sucks, but here's a biscuit with a flight of gravy from Biscuit Head in Asheville. I tried the pork sausage, fried chicken, and the GOD (gravy of the day) habenero chicken (+something sweet, already forgot) gravies. Also pictured is a side of maple-sirracha sausage and a mug of some local coffee.

Very tasty. I give it 4.75/5 Lipitors.

I would like to open one of these.

The Mediterranean for breakfast in Asheville is new to me. I usually do Early Girl.

This place was superb with rich history.

Rocky's for burgers and Dolly's for ice cream is always a must repeat in Brevard

And the 100% greatest place I've Been in a while is Buxton Hall in Asheville. Whole Hog BBQ in a killer setting. Everything was amazing but my fried smoked chicken was the most memorable.

Get the Chicken Bog as a side.

Half Shell Oyster house Biloxi.

King Prawns -- almost like crab so rich

Then flounder with crabcake on top drizzled with a lemon/cran reduction ..... Good grief

Mary Mahoneys next....

Amazed at the NOLA vibe Biloxi restaurant district has going.... Very cool

MMs is the best.

Many years ago as a young State Trooper (many years ago), I had to work Black Spring Break on the coast every year. For a week they put us in the Beau Rivage "upper floors" and we would have to eat every meal at MM's for free. 25 Troopers staying at the Beau and 25 Troopers eating each meal at MM's kept the place "respectable"...after the last time I worked that circus and ate at MM's for about 20 meals in a row, I have never eaten there again. Guess its time to hit it up again...(and take a break from Darwell's in Long Beach)

C's.
