Greenville Goodness.

Been eating here since I was a kid. Has been in business since 1904. Everything is made in house even down to the hot sauce. Didn't take a my food pics but will be going back before heading home.

Know for their BBQ and of course ice cream cones as he invented the ice cream cone machine.

Definantly still worth the stop.

Are they holding their own against Cook Out across the street? We've had a few locally owned joints (Zestos) like that fold up after being in business for well over two generations...sad.

Cookout is new but dosnt seem to effect Doumars business at all. The place stays busy. More pics to come as we are going back on Thursday. I ate 3 BBQ sandwiches, a cheeseburger and a side of fries from there today. And washed it down with a Cherry Coke that was made by mixing regular Coke with freshly pressed cherries. Didn't have time for ice cream, which is made in house as well, but will get some on Thursday.

Here is another place we go to everytime we are in Virginia Beach. I will start off by saying, yes it is a franchise but not a very common one. Food is always excellent and the wine list seems endless.

I reccomended the French Quarter 4 Course and add a cold water lobster tail.
