I would really like to get the adaptor in this link:

Hopkins 7-Way Round Pin to 4-Flat Adapter 37405

in town so that I can use it early next week with a borrowed trailer. My truck has a 7 pin socket with round terminals, and yes, the socket is also round :-) The trailer is a small design with the basic flat 4 connector.

Every place I check online that shows store inventory has the "RV style flat blade terminal" adaptors in stock but not the round pin version.

Has you seen this on a shelf somewhere or can you offer suggestions of who to call Monday morning? I've checked Bass Pro, Autozone, and Uhaul online and ran out of ideas. Thanks!

call uhaul rental place they usally have a bunch of adapters

I called Uhaul today and he gave me a part# 13482, which I hadn't found on their site before. I asked if it has 7 female sockets on the truck side and he said yes.

Yesterday I had checked their "Adapters" link, which was supposed to be every trailer adaptor they sell:

U-Haul: Moving supplies: Adapters

...and there wasn't a round pin adaptor listed.

So today I typed in the 13482 part number he gave me, but 13480M shows up, all alone in the results page. That is the incorrect part which I had already found. Luckily a dropdown box I hadn't seen before appeared on this page, and I selected "7Way Pin Type", and voila, there is the elusive 13482, complete with a correct description.

Not sure why the process of finding this part has to be so difficult online, but calling them did work. He supported my conclusion that this is a rarely used adaptor.

I got one at Harbor Freight for about $20 by all the trailer stuff.
