Wheel/tires for FJ60? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

Whats the largest wheel/tire combo that will fit, without rubbing, etc, on STOCK 83 FJ60? I see many are happy with 33-9.50's. Plan to eventually do a 2-3" suspension lift.

Stock- 33x9.5

2.5-3" Lift - 33x12.5 or 35s

Need tires....dont need suspension! or, should I say...."NEED tires..WANT suspension!" But the tires have to come first.

I put 33x10.5 on my stock suspension with no problems on street driving or mild offroad driving. I didn't fully stuff them so I can't say 100% that it won't rub.

Now after the lift, definitely no rubbing issues.

I was running 33 12.50's 15 on some saggin azz suspension. No rubby rubby.

33x12.5 on 8" rims on stock springs. Small rub at full turn. Installing 1" over shackles this weekend.
