Can somebody confirm that the 93-94 80 series use a conical wheel lug nut while the 95-97 series use a flat wheel lug nut w/washer?

I can confirm that the 94 used the conical wheel lug nut and the 97 uses flat w/ washer. Not sure on the range of years.

Now, I noticed the lug nuts on the LX are a bit rusty and was thinking of replacing them. Costco sells replacement lug nuts for $.58 each, but they are only the conical type. The lug nut manufacturer's fitment guide states they will fit all Land Cruiser years prior to 98, which is obviously not correct for the 95-97's. But for those with 94's and earlier, what are the potential problems with using an after market "one size fits all" lug nut?

Also, does anyone know what CruiserDan's price on OEM's is?
