Never seen an armadillo in person but according to Andrew Zimmern from the show Bizarre Foods on the travel channel they are quite tasty when cooked properly.

their primary defense is to jump...that is why they get hit so often...they jump off the ground and get hit square on the bumper...hey, that zoology degree is coming in handy!

Started with coyotes. Told a kid he was crazy in the early 90's when he told me he had coyotes in his woods. Then the fire ant invasion. Never thought they would get this far but watched them build up and down the interstate. Then bears are all over. Whats next to invade? Thanks for getting that picture up for me Marshall.
They aren't invading, we are. They are just moving in reaction to us and the climate. Now, go hug a tree and throw money at some trout.
