A friend is trying to help sell a 1985 60 series. The owner died in a plane crash. His sons blew up the motor before he passed away and his plan was to give it an LS swap. It’s a roller, but looking at it, the body is in really good condition, interior is very nice, there are a few soft spots on the frame. He had a fabricator quote a couple hundred to repair/patch the frame. I’ve got no dog in this hunt, but told him I’d check on mud for a value. Tires are almost brand new. What do y’all think?

Tricky. No engine at all. Someone else’s project. Need frame and underside photos. The right person had to want it. Most will shy away from a roller. $3000. Put a stock engine in it and make it driveable then if it’s clean $7k to $10k.

Thanks Seth S there may be a built high pro LS and high $$ suspension components that go along with it also, working on getting a list.

Is there a trans and t-case in it?

This looks like it could be a fantastic ready made project depending on a few things....rust condition and how much “stuff” comes with it.

Looks like a solid foundation.

Need under side photos, and proof of the normal rust / bad first to go body rust parts. If solid and paint is decent I bet somebody would pay 3k with clean title and no accident damage. From your pics it looks good.

Worth more if the old parts (radiator, rad. shell, hood, etc.) are still around. Some dude may have a 2F lying around and just want to put it back to stock.

Paperweight/parts for most buyers.

That is a great candidate to play with. Most you can get is about 4-5k as is, depending how clean the frame and body is. Hopefully someone saves it, looks like a nice truck.

It's odd that the frame has "soft spots" but the body has no rust? The plane crash situation would haunt me as well........

Yes

Well it disappeared during covid shutdown, think they wanted too much for it anyway
