I didn’t find anything in search. Mine got muddy AF. Can I spray it down with simple green and pressure wash it clean? It seems a brush will be too harsh to use. Then let it dry out then reinstall? New ones are $350ish.

Of course I will remove it from the hood. 🤓

I don’t know-
But simple green is a degreaser. Kind of like soap. Since mud is fully water soluble and not oily, I bet just a spray down with water should be sufficient.
 
Pressure washer.

Avoid alternator.
