People on e-bay keep stating that the prices of fj40's will increase because of all the excitement surrounding the new cruiser. I don't think cruiser prices can go alot higher. They may go lower after 6 mos b/c there will be an alternative(new fj)

They will go higher in my opinion.
I believe the H1 prices fell when the H2 came out.

the h2 stole the non offroad bling market from the h1 for strip club advertising vehicles, aging movie stars combatting erectile dysfunction, pimps, etc... it was hard to find 22s to fit on an H1

Nah, I don't see the FJC stealing any of the FJ40's thunder either. If anything, it's going to drive up the value of a nice 40. A lot of FJC enthusiasts may even want to add a vintage Cruiser to their stable . . . . much like the renewed interest in vintage VWs, Mustangs, T-birds and Dodge Chargers.
