Finally got everything together to begin the rebuild of the FJ62 transfer case. Tried to mate it up to the late 4spd gearbox and found the mounting points are different. The spacer on the A440 is different. Now I need longer bolts. I need the 7 bolts pictured or the sizes. I watched Georg’s video about 10 times and he looks to be using much longer bolts. Can someone who has done this clue me in.?

Ha! Right on Skniper! You should be here for the build up. There are times I look around at the mess I have made and wonder what in the hell I was thinking when I started this. But, I did get my pedals in and the clutch master in. The press arrived so I was able to get the old bearings out of the transfer case. Everything is cleaned and painted and ready to be put back together. Of course now I have to wait on 7 MF'n bolts.

I made it! Now the project is stalled waiting on bolts and correct rear main seal and such. Well, unless I can assemble everything in the Transfer case before actually bolting it down.
It is strange going to a grocery store. Very quiet and everyone glares at you suspiciously. Wish my truck was running. I would like to try that new manual transmission out on some forrest service roads.

Oh, @tmxmotorsports I like yoga pants too, but they do tend to show off more girth than necessary on some people.

what is funny, is to walk along side someone in a face covering and gloves and start coughing, you should see the looks you get then.
