All OEM 16, 17 and 18" wheels will have the same bore size.

That's what I was thinking. The guy making my adapters is going to put a lip on the adapter to fit inside the hub. Said that's the absolute best way to keep the ride quality- prevents shakes and shimmies. Thanks

I don't see how you can do hubcentric and wheelcentric adapters in the front as the hub sticks out quite a bit. It is possible in the rear.

We have looked at making hubcentric spacers and no way to do it in the 1-1.5" range. If the spacer went beyond the hub, you could.

With the current spacers, if you don't take care to put the wheel on right, you can get shakes. We are looking to get some large conical lugnuts to center the wheel on the studs (use on 3 of the 5 studs) then use regular lugnuts to clamp the wheel down. One it is secured, replace the conical with regular.

Why only up front?

A corrective measure (+) per dclee above and a stab at making the highway speed steering less sensitive/nervous (post lift can't get enough caster)...and making room for the 315's.

I see some of you are using spacers when using the larger tires, is it ok to use them even when using the 285/75/16?
