What Rack? AO still avail in the US?

Mine stays on permanently, but I don't see why it wouldn't be. It's extremely light weight and you would only need take 6 nuts/bolts off.

Does anyone know if this is still going on???

The link I posted says "Super Sale" over the 100-series rack price ($1000) and the picture to the right says "Free Shipping"...I would assume it is still going on.

In talking to Christo, he pointed out to me that the Front Runner rack's slates run perpendicular to the rig vs parallel - potentially causing a lot of wind noise. I actually hadn't notice that - details aren't my strong point.

Any Front Runner owner's care to comment about wind noise?

AO one is nice because if the minimal wind noise is annoying, you can just take off the sunroof hatch and it goes away.

We should have a sticky thread that shows racks on 100's....

I've seen lots of people running fr and ao roof racks on their 100 series, but not ARB roof racks. I personally like the look of the arb roof rack as well, but is there a reason why almost nobody uses it on 100 series?

Too many roof configurations.... They dropped the full rack from their lineup for the 100. I bought their feet for my rack build, and had to weld the holes shut on the two I was going to use for the front, measure and re-drill the feet to the proper width. It was a big deal to me after I had spent a good deal of money for something I felt should be bolt up right out of the box.

In the end, I had what I wanted, an INTI rack on top of my Cruiser.

Front Runner Wind Cheetah roof rack teaser photo :). Wind noise is less than I expected. I did, since I've never wheeled this rig with a roof rack, notice the extra weight up there; mostly in high crosswinds. But otherwise the utility outweighs whatever negatives.

I'm going to fab a wind fairing to sculpt the wind up and over the rack. But, again, the wind noise isn't bad.

Cool, Spresso, let me know what you come up with. I'd like to lose the two sheetmetal pieces that came with the rack.
