Do you have pics? And would you consider making another, or providing instructions?

I put on a sunroof shield (not sure you can really see it in the pics) that helps with the wind noise, but it is definitely more noisy that my OEM rails and Thule bars were.

I'm going to test it thoroughly on the upcoming Utah trip then make necessary changes, if any, and offer them for sale. I have not determined the price as of yet, but looks like it will be between $50-$100 best guess.

Dan, did you go up to the top edge of the rack or the bottom with the fairing? Here's what I'm thinking of doing. Don't know yet if it will be plastic or metal.

I would take it to the very top of the rack to minimize air flow hitting the rack at a 90* angle. Just my thoughts, I know it's still a rough sketch. But looks good, are you thinking a tinted plastic or black metal? I thing a tinted plastic would look good.

You'll need the fairing to be stiff enough to not flip up or bend in the wind... you'll also want a rubber gasket where it touches the vehicle so it doesn't rattle or rub.

Dave: Mine goes about 1/2" above the top of the FR rack and almost full coverage to each side. I made three supports, out of aluminum flat stock, to brace the plastic fairing and provide attachment to the top of the FR rail via nutserts. Worked out pretty darn well. I used 1/8" ABS; thinking 3/16" might be better...dunno on that one.

Ok, will stand by.

I am finding the wind noise to be getting louder, and with an open sunroof today going only about 40-45mph, I am getting a whistle at times.
