What lift do you have to have 35 mud terrains on a 100 series? (1 Viewer)

Jack, support and remove the front wheels. With a sharp utility knife cut the bubble portion of the inner fender skirt at the protruding pinch weld. With a large adjustable wrench or pipe wrench fold the pinched body panels over and then beat flat with a BFH.

Thanks! This is perfect.

I can't wait to have my 285/75R18 MT/R's mounted...

Spresso, I love the color matched rust accents on your truck:D

I'd like to take credit for that but alas I can't. Some things ARE better in New York.

i have the same setup as shotts just before the long travel upgrade....it rubs a bit but not bad...just annoying pulling into and out of parking lots driveways ect, bumps at full turn basicaly. gets worse with psi below 50.
-paws up damn near anything but mpgs suck.

Shouldn't "bump" (you mean rub?) at full turn at all. Turn-stop adjusts stop that.

i was wondering if that was gonna make sense.

-it only rubs if i hit a bump at full turn......sry.

I have ran 295 and 305's. They are by far the best tire size choices you can pick. I love the 295 because it is a tiny bit taller than the 285, and I loooove the 305's because they are a .1" smaller in diameter than the 295's, but .7" wider. That .7" really makes the tire sit almost flush with the fenders. I love that.

What is your intention for use on the 100?

Depending on your planned use of your cruiser.

thanks. ill have a look at when the weather clears. and by increasing turning radius you mean to adjust out correct? so my truck wont turn as sharp.

-sry for some reason im not quite getn the "increase turning radius"

Yes, though the reduction is so little you'll not tell.

-awesome thanks. i was worried about loosing radius. the lc turns very sharp as is. i really like that about it, ive actually had 2 different people compliment on it.

-thanks again.

-sorry not trying to jack....get 865's

New Shoes

OK, so I have my new shoes on. Definitely louder than the AT/KO's but don't feel that much heavier otherwise (actually very close to the AT tires they replaced in weight). These are 285/75R18. I'm surprised how much wider they are than the 275/70R18's that they replaced...

Can't wait to get them dirty!

How are folks addressing the contact with the windshield cleaner fluid covers? I have a 12mm body lift that I'm about to install, so that should help but wasn't sure if anything beyond that was necessary...

sickkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They're gonna be my next set of tires, I need to loose some weight.

Bodylift should pretty much remove most of the contact, unless full stuff with a right turn...it hasnt ripped off on me yet!

No contact with mine although Carl's UCAs move the wheel back slightly...and I'm running 10mm wheel spacers

Looks great BTW! You'll love them on snow if this massive storm that is hitting us right now has any oomph left by the time it gets to you :)

Crossing my fingers for some white Christmas producing stuff!
