Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler and a Belgian Malinois are my 2 dogs.

The heeler is very high energy and I would say the Mal is medium energy.

They both keep us active and are not backyard dogs.

Rhodesian Ridgeback x Shepherd

Coon Hound crossed with Catahoula Leopard Dog, as far I know....

You could've just said tree climbing "Spawn of Satan".... 'nuff said. :p

You forgot gate-opening, fence-digging, collar-slipping, butter-eating, jackfish-impersonating, endurance-running.....

Weighed him the other night, he's up 8 lbs since I got him. Mostly since you were down I think, he doesn't get in as much running when it's nasty ass cold.

Yeah. You forgot to mention the part about him counter surfing to gain access to the slow cooker and help himself to the tomato chicken florentine dish (picture tomato sauce all over white kitchen cupboards), knock a lasagna dish off the counter onto the floor and push it out into the living room (bye bye leftovers) or swipe a mouthful of chocolate icing off a birthday cake before (happy birthday to me!). ;)

The other day Wyatt unlocked the door to the garage, opened it, then opened the garage door and let himself out for a day of fun in the neighborhood.

I wouldn't have believed it but for the tale told in scratches around the deadbolt, door knob, and garage door opener...

Luckily Santana hasn't figured out door knobs or electronics yet, but if he can jump, climb, dig or force his way out....

Yep, Zeus is handsome!

English Mastiff owner here, too. We adopted Huey when he was about 6 and he's 8 1/2 now - fairly old for a Mastiff. He's a small male.

Our prior four-legged son was an English Mastiff as well. McKinley was much bigger than Huey (and apricot versus fawn in color). Poor old guy had a rough life - ate rocks as a pup and underwent abdominal surgery at 3 mos.; congenital hip problems leading to major surgery at 1; blew out both knees - one was surgically repaired; and then he got a form of fast-moving cancer that caused us to put him down at just over 7.

Mastiffs are great, great dogs!

We have a 5yo Chihuahua, 4yo Rottweiler and a 3yo Boxer.

Von (Hope) is my little girl.

Nala is my GF house-protecting, scream at the top of her lungs, one-person loving, rescued furry rat.:D

Then there is Mia. She was kind enough to adopt us all and move in with us. She has more love and kisses than just one person can take, so she belongs to all of us.
