2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers

Reggie and Otto 1 and 2 yrs old

Good looking dogs.

Just a heads up... the chesapeake I had was very possessive of my/his truck. He almost and did bite(a couple...) that would think he was cute and stick their hand in to pet him.
I didn't see this 'til he was around 2.5 or 3.

RIP Chester.

Brindle Boxer @ about 12 weeks old...goes by Freddy. The picture is @ 9 weeks. Hey Legion got any pics of the boxer that adopted you??

Beautiful pup... and I'll scrounge some up. I think my daughter snagged some skinny pics too so I'll root around and toss some up of that too. The old saying that "the hungry dog runs faster"? If that's true he'd have been able to hit light speed when he showed up on the property.

Border Collie

Smartest dog I've ever had! She can even fetch a cold beverage out of the fridge! (Won't close the door though)

Here are some pics of the way we found him on the property two Saturdays ago...

He had a problem w/ his johnson not retracting, probably due to the cold / no water / no groceries issue. All fits to OEM spec now.

In the last 10 days or so he's put on 12 pounds and now tips in at about 52 #. Healthy, happy, and inclined to defend his groceries pretty well but I suppose that's to be expected. I'd guess he might put on another 5# or so but other than that he seems to be improving with every day. I'll snap a few pics of his current condition and you'd be shocked that he looked so bad just a couple Saturdays ago.

8 year old golden retarded and a 9 month old gestaposhire terrier....:D

Helluva boxer. Knocking at deaths door from the look of him.

Good save!

I'll be needing a stud for the shepherd if anyone knows/has a decent line intact.
Long hair/red would be ideal.
She just passed first heat, and I'll be shooting for one litter in her third heat.

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retiever

Tireless Retiever, great with the kids.

Goes by Desi, short for Desdemona. I always say after the Allman Brothers tune, my wife from Othello.

St. Bernard/reindeer

This is TJ he is 5, he has bad hips and knees. He was from the pound. He is trimmed down to 160lbs now. He was bigger but didn't need it. He is getting a little ornery with other folks. He is very protective of my kids and wife almost to a fault. He is our 2nd St. B. Sydney left us at 5 due to cancer. My daugter learned to walk holding on to him. My son is doing the same.

Lucy... she's an Australian Kelpie. Smartest (and most destructive) best dog I've ever owned. Rescue dog... she's now about 15 months. Did I mention she's destructive? Apparently carpet is yummy...

msahr,

how does your dog like those footie things? My lab keeps cutting his paws because he is 10000% when he is running loose in the woods or swimming. I have been thinking about some of those bottie things but wonder if he will just sit there and try to chew them off?

Abbey's a Reindeer, too!

It's pretty funny she kind of prances when she has them on... She gets used to them after a while and it's OK with her. When we take her hiking or any extended off-road activity we use them. They aren't cheap, about $60  for 4... we used them last summer to help her pads heal after days and days in the pool, she scuffed off the outer layer off her pads.
