My Mom gave me this old box. She has no idea where it came from, but is well made, dove tailed joints, green felt in the drawer bottoms, and a metal tray on top. Roughly 14"L, 9"H, 9"W. Thought maybe a watch maker or jeweler's box? I use it almost daily when working on small parts.

Interesting. Any marks on the bottom or back of drawers or such?

Could be medical as well. Traveling doctor or dentist? Store the tools inside and put them on the tray for use.

It looks like to me what you would take camping and store utensils and food in.... a place to make sandwiches and such..
