I have the DBA 4000's and Hawk LTS's. Also replaced the factory rubber lines with Stoptech stainless ones. The stopping power and feel is a lot better.

I haven't noticed the corrosive brake dust, but I just switched up the wheels and will monitor that more closely now.

I only ever do OEM on Toyota's that I have owned. I have never had issue with OEM.

I love Genuine Toyota rotors, but I caused Genuine pads to disintegrate from excess heat. There are definitely use cases for other pad compounds.

For the 2008-2015 I love the Z36 brakes. They brake much better than stock, they don't start fading after heating up under heavy braking, and they last a nice long time. Check out the link below, I have a detailed video on the installation.

For the 2016-2021, the stock brakes are great, just stick to OEM.

Not SD, but I removed hawk LTSs after about 200 miles due to the excessive and more importantly corrosive brake dust. Still trying to figure out how to get that stuff off my rock warriors before I sell them.
Adam's wheel cleaner will take care of the brake dust.

Done genuine rotors, trd pads, genuine pads, ceramic pads.... they all sucked in my opinion especially for KO2/LT tires. I strongly recommend the tundra upgrade, its not too costly and brakes last twice as long if not more. Basically pays for itself.

I have used Z36 pads on previous trucks whenever available.
But I found the 2020 has good OEM pads and brakes that stops the vehicle well when not loaded or towing.
What would happen if I put Z36 on the newer brakes?
Would it output more heat and put more stress on boots, with more dust on the wheels?

Would probably give similar improvements. But personally I think the 2016-2021 has very good braking with OEM setup.
