You should ride with me for a day. You'll get to see a lot of good.....and bad....... Welding.

I have a few books that are great late-night reading...........
Just might take you up on that! Had a great instructor for SMAW, which made everything else much smoother.

Had my tire guy dismount all tires, clean all wheel rims, remount with fresh contact sealant. My KO 2's kept loosing air and I hoped this would help. It seems to have made a large difference. 315's/35's take a lot of air and I don't have a good compressor anymore.

Re-bled all break valves after previous fluid replacement. Forgot lspv bleeder initially.

With proper inflation and good fluid seems to stop much better, even with anti-lock off. Next step, clean speed sensors and get ABS back on.

Cleaned back O2 sensor studs and re-mounted sensor with fresh gasket. (Sort of miss that bad-ass exhaust sound with sensor not properly mounted)

Bought some new gear storage boxes at Sam's and filled with gear.

Filled gas tank. "Ouch" That one was hard.

Pulled the rear tire off and remembered that my sway bar was adjusted on our Colorado trip…. Fixed. Well one side fixed.

Had a fox shock that was clearly visibly leaking and not working up to par… sent it to get repaired to find out that the main rod was broken…. Fixed and back ready to go.

Installed a 100w solar panel and MPPT on the Tacoma. Hoping this will allow my auxiliary battery to stay topped off with the fridge running while parked. Still need to make some extensions so that I can angle it but that can wait until I get some more hardware from McMasterCarr.

Pressure washed the chassis and prayed it with Woolwax. Should be good for another winter.

Helped put a lift on a 2001 Jeep YJ. Took about 16 hours with broken bolts and knuckles. Then helped my brother Troy put a lift on his 2000 LC. Took about 3 1/2 hours with no broken bolts and smiles galore. Crazy how easy it is to lift a 100.

Figured out my window glass is too short

Was doing the once over on the F toy before putting it away for the winter and realized that the front U-boats had stripped all the threads. Went back to my parts department and couldn’t find any long enough. (that’s what she said). Anyone have suggestions where to pick these up?

O'Reilly carries U-Boats. You can order in what you need. Fair warning: They are cheap Chine$e crap. But it may get you together when you need it.

General spring in Gardner is where I have all mine made.

Finished the snorkel install after letting the paint cuddle all night with a space heater in the shop.

Ready for the Ozarks.

Fixed my Kessler Run damage. Was able to beat the fender back in place enough to get new rocker installed. Not perfect but close enough.

Tons of little things make the truck come together. Running boards, Kick vents, intake vent, windshield flap parts.
