I thought long and hard about locking the front but decided against it. Mostly because I don’t want to tempt myself into a situation where locking the front would help me get out somewhere I shouldn’t have gotten myself into in the first place.

And to be more specific, the locker gave me the false confidence to get into the situation I didn't get out of successfully. The locker directly contributed to the situation by keeping me from being able to steer as I was trying to back out.
I shouldn't have been there.. 100% my fault. But I maintain I wouldn't have gone that far without it.

Double lockers are a great party trick for taking the insano line when the jeep guys are watching. Never helped me get somewhere I needed to go in the sense that I could have taken an easier line with a single locker, but the challenging line is part of the fun! Also spending 8 years wheeling a 3x locked 80 series, I was already quite spoiled when I decided to make the minivan the wheeling rig.
Surely triple lockers is the ultimate. But it's arguable just how much more capability being triple locked actually is in a 200-series versus say an 80-series. The 200-series front axle does not act open because it's augmented by a highly capable A-TRAC system. With center and rear locked, because at least 3 wheels are always in sync, it tracks to react super quick. My experience is that it does not let power escape or even flare in RPM with open spinning of a lifted wheel. Perhaps 90% the benefit of triple locking without the potential of CV or steering binding.
This is with center and rear locked. Watch how well the front passenger wheel tracts in RPM even when fully lifted off the ground. No sound as it's drone video.
Just as an FYI, if you weren’t aware, the LX570 already has this feature of 2 led’s in the overhead console shining down. Not sure if the panel would be a direct replacement, or cost prohibitive.
