You should be good, it is pretty straight forward for a LC!
Got my battery box "mostly" installed before our trip to Stonehenge today. Still need to plumb the AC/heater and tighten a few things up, but we're charging.

I’m at 195k miles and shop said it was just a defective 9 month old Interstate battery and not the starter. Very honest shop where I will take my other Cruisers from now on
I had completely removed the cross member that stretches between the two headlights a long time ago when I installed my bumper and winch because it would interfere with the winch. Today I cut the cross member ends off, painted their ends, and installed to give the headlights a little more support.
Kept them short enough so I can still easily reach the winch clutch handle and the BlueSeaSystems winch power cutoff switch.

Are you still using AHC? This version kinda will interfere with the reservoir.
I do have another set of parts if you're willing to do some fabrication.
Wish I cut my bumper a little straighter... driver side done.

I am doing a very tedious chore: taking down my skid plates and pressure washing all the mud off the truck. I also took off my front bumper, wheels, and a few plastic pieces around the wheel wells to find all the hidden mud reservoirs. This has to be like 200 pounds of dirt.

I feel your pain, I just rotated my tires and found more Moab stuck to the brake dust shield, that trip was months ago.
Yep that red dirt was from 2 mud holes I crossed looking for a campsite near the green river the night before a canoe trip
I am using ahc at the moment. Some fav work would not scare me away in the slightest.
Let’s move to a pm…I’m interested to hear more.
