A little comfort mod this weekend. Installed an 8” subwoofer in a box. Skar SDR8 dual voice coil 4 ohm sub. Wired in series to 8 ohms, running off factory amp. Much improved over the 6.5” factory sized sub.

That’s smart. No need to fuss with making it fit in the factory box

Not much but changed out the red Warn sticker for a grey sticker on the control box of a VR Evo 12k.

Built a loom for the TCC bumper lights. Spliced into the taillight instead of the trailer wiring. Now to repeat on the other side.

Wiring is a lot more enjoyable when you have a tailgate to work on, not at a weird angle and have the right tools and supplies.

FYI, West Marine is changing wire suppliers so all of the Ancor marine grade wire is pretty deeply discounted. Good time to stock up for future projects.

dang, out of stock. Does it have aback up camera option?

Finally got the new hood swapped over after getting it blasted and painted, went with the cascadia solar panel as a blackout/battery tender. New moldings, bumpers, wiper plumbing, etc. Very happy with the switch to a mist type nozzle vs. the oem three stream. Color match is pretty solid (compared to unexposed spots of paint), but it will need a few years in the sun to really blend well.

Rocking the slick top for a hot minute, diggin' the look:

Yesterday, I installed rear calipers, rotors, and pads.

I also installed a new spare tire pulley as my original was chewed up from breaking the stupid factory wheel lock off of it
For the spare tire pulley did you go with an OEM one or what did you go with? My key that came with the car doesnt work with mine so thinking of just getting a new one. Thank you!
