I’m honestly not sure what the original size is because I ordered the wrong size. I ordered 1 gauge for the negative and 6 for the ground and both were bigger than the original wire. I honestly think the oem negative cable might be a 4 or 5? I’m not sure. I’d get something to measure it to find out.
I had such a fun weekend with Keystone Cruisers at Rausch this weekend and delighted in being a passenger in my truck for a change. Also, turned 260k miles young.
CMIIW, ARB commissioned Rigid Industries to manufacture their ARB Intensity lights for them (you will see the similarities in the pigtail and wiring harness itself)
Sold my 80, bought a 2000 LX. Couldn't be happier. Got some 18" Tundra wheels and powdercoated to match lower trim, spooned on some new BFG rubber. Viola!
Hey folks, it’s been a while! Not mine, but I gave my dad’s beautiful ‘07 LC a much-needed detail and oil change after this past elk hunting season. Miss you guys!

It is possible. I bought these lights used, here on MUD. They did not come with a wiring harness. Since I am running my own custom wiring harness, I went ahead and cut off those pig tails and used quick disconnects under the front bumper. I did have to go up to a 20A fuse as these lights blew out both a 10A & 15A fuse.
I want to add two features to my Land Cruiser:
- Disable ABS
I plan on doing this by interrupting EXI2 to the ABS-ECU and connecting this input to GND.
- Override the Low Range shift pattern
I plan on doing this by interrupting the L4 switch to the Transmission ECU and connecting this input to GND.
Did not test if this works yet, but figured I'll start by engraving a switch:
Don't mind me switching D & N...
Also Installed Seat Jackers from Desert Does It, I like these things.

Over the last 2 weeks, I fitted Clearview towing mirrors, new OEM mudguards, new OEM door speaker grilles, Rad Rubber Design front splash guards and finished changing the battery terminals to SDHQ.

Great looking rig same colour as mine. i fitted some 200 series 18" wheels to my 100 series but am having some issues in finding caps that are big enough to cover the front wheel bearing covers. Can you suggest a source or a part number for caps that might work?
My parts came, so the dreaded steering rack job is incoming…ordered a water pump and timing belt since it’s been 70k+ miles, and who knows how many years. I figured out my high temps while rock crawling is probably due to 40% of my fan shroud missing. Also the box the rack arrived in was beaten up pretty bad, with oil stains (normal?). Threads still look good.

My stock 2000 lx caps for 16" wheel still fit. They snap in firmly they just sit a little proud of the wheel itself around the edges. It looks OK from a short distance. Apparently you can also put spacers on and it will clear the newer caps.

I will never understand what the people boxing these parts are thinking when they put them together like that. No way that is all from shipping unless it was delivered by Ace Ventura.
