Yeah agreed not cheap.. been stashing tax refund cash for a few years to finally make this happen. Sent shivers up my spine cutting into the tailgate with a grinder but heck you only live once!daaanng these are so cool but i hate to sounds like a typical 80 series cheapskate there has to be cheaper options.
Safe travels Seth and good luck!Scratch my previous post. My 40 is on hold until further notice. My new copilot has decided that right now is a good time to be born. I'll be on the first flight to Denver this morning.
No zip ties? You can't fix anything with that stuff....So I decided tonight was the night to go through my gear for wheeling. I have used 3 tanker style bags for at least 8-10 years now. Sheesh, I need an intervention. I think I have tossed random things in over the years without considering what was already in there.
A few highlights…

- 8 road flares, 2 marine flares, 1 aria flare… 11 flares!
- About 15 hose clamps mostly the same size.
- At least 50 nitrile gloves stashed throughout all three bags.
- Found my bailing wire and a thank you note from 2012
- 3 rolls of electrical tape, 2 rolls of duct tape, 3 rolls of Teflon tape.
- 2 full sets of screw driver bits.
Hey @REZARF it’s a good ways out Spring Hill, but not as far as Flathead Pass, on FS land at base of Bridgers. The trail is only about a mile long to the trailhead for hiking/Mtn biking but has some nice tight technical and deep rutted sections. A good bit of it is south facing, so it’s really just an early season slow shakedown type run. It’s enjoyable, just shortLooks good @finally where is that one?
Is that by springhill church? I’ve been up there hiking and the trip to the upper parking lot is fun if it is the same place.Hey @REZARF it’s a good ways out Spring Hill, but not as far as Flathead Pass, on FS land at base of Bridgers. Most people park at bottom and walk or Mtn bike the mile to the trailhead, but when I wheeled to the trailhead yesterday there was an FJ Cruiser parked up there and must have been out hiking / shed hunting.
Yes Sir, that’s it, hang a left just before the churchIs that by springhill church? I’ve been up there hiking and the trip to the upper parking lot is fun if it is the same place.
