Nice! Gotta get the booze rack back on the other side!
I put a clevis on the back of Penny as well as a trailer hitch. It took about 3 minutes.

Made it to the shop for exhaust work...

Finished up the flat belly but then discovered that the front ARB internal line is broken. I just hope it's getting enough pressure to actuate the locker for The Roundup this week. Not really any way to fix that on the quick and easy I don't think.

Looking DAMN good Andy!! Can't wait to get a beer from the cooler at GSMTR (AT CAMP THAT IS) :)

Exhaust completed. Upper rad hose replaced. Gave her a bath. Having trouble with idle. (Must use choke.) Going to check timing tonight.

She does feel better after desmog, but need to get idle under control so I can hear it at 650RPM instead of 1200. Need to adjust valves while I'm at it.

Will it only idle with the choke pulled? Once it's running, can you push the choke in and manually keep it going?

Maybe something to do with the idle solenoid or the decel fuel cut thing?

Hopefully it's something easy.

Correct. Will only idle with choke. I was having the same issue before desmog. I did the "green wire" mod before desmog, but it did not change anything. (Grounding a wire to the carb, bypassing the computer.)

If I push the choke in and stay on the throttle, it will keep running. As soon as I let off the throttle it dies.

with the key on engine not running you should be able to unplug the solenoid wire and then plug it back in and hear it click

ICS plug, unplug.... Nice solid clicks.

I don't know what it is, but my desmogged 2f does the same. Some time it idles great, others it has to have the choke out a bit. Not that it's much help.

Mine doesn't. Not since I got a Trollhole carb :D

Have you put a vacuum gauge on it? If your pulling good vac (15 or more) then there might be some junk that got left in the carb during rebuild. Timing is at 7* with no vac hooked up to the dizzy?
