What did you do with your truck this week?

My neighbor across the street works for 20/20, in fact he may be the one doing it. Name is Jason and is a pretty cool guy. Let us know how the install goes, I've been tempted to call mine and get it replaced.

Drove the cruiser out to my parents cabin and to twin falls. Took the dog as well. Crappies and wined the whole time. Apparently I have a city dog.

Went to the Grand Strand Pick n Pull and got a few little parts from an 87 4runner, just some tailgate straps and some door switches. I need a cover for the inside of the tailgate if anyone knows anyone that has one...

Delivered "Ranger" yesterday" I will miss driving this truck.

Heather has been hard at work messing with a video program, her first video..........

@NCFJ that is a sweet rig. Nice video. Curious, what tach is that? I like that setup, would like to do something similar in my old ford.

Thanks Matt, it is an Autometer 2 1/8". They have all kinds of sizes and configurations. One I would like to use at some point is a speed with the tach in the section of the speedo where the speedo hand does not sweep, pretty cool.

Heather did a very nice job with the video! I enjoyed watching it, thanks for sharing.

Pulled my airtanks off the roof for refinishing...going powdercoat this time. Need to redo all my connectors and make the system airtight again. Probably going to have to replace my train horn dump valve switch - pretty sure its what really failed and leaks. I think that valve is only rated for 90psi and I had about 150psi in the system.

Ran the ARB fridge wiring kit from battery, through firewall to back of cargo area - just need to mount the receptacle and put the spade connectors on the wiring.

Dropped the ATF from my trans and topped off again. I've got a high pitched whine that I can hear between load and unload on drive train at highway speeds. Trying to chase down the culprit. Figured I'd start with the trans and work my way back to the rear diff or wheel bearings. It's been a while since I changed the t-case fluids, but it looked OK when I opened the fill hole this weekend. A little bit leaked out and it was still clear and not gritty on my finger.

Made a waterfall run today with the family at pisgah national forest. Slick rock falls, cove creek falls, and courthouse falls.

Got my winch installed after work Friday. Way more of a pain than it should have been. The "ears" that the fairlead goes under were bent. I had to deploy the BFH and impact wrench with some big bolts to get it back in alignment. Also, I discovered that the metal end on my positive battery cable is about to break. Need to get that fixed ASAP.

Got my battery terminal replaced today. Went to Rogers Stereo to get a heavy duty one. The guys just gave it to me for free! Will definitely use them again.

Some heavy wrenching here folks. :D.
Reattached my snorkel to a pillar and fixed a leak and rattle. Then painted up and installed the rest of the plugs I found at lowes for the fender flare holes. Installed some windshield hinge mirrors on the 45 as well

Yup, turns out Jason installed my new windshield. They did a great job, and were accommodating to order the non-chrome style weatherstrip.

Awesome glad it worked out for ya!
