As everyone else, we checked out the snow in the local mountains, then down to the desert and check out the wild flowers before the masses. Here we are on Pinyon Mountain trail just down from heart attack hill, about 1000ft in Anza Borrego desert.

If you go up (be sure to take pictures) you get to come down because with flares an 80 will not fit in the squeeze.

Haha. Yeah I don't go up or down Heart Attack Hill or through the Squeeze anymore. I posted pictures about 12 years ago of my friend who went through the squeeze in a deflared 80. Full length body damage down both sides. My 4Runner fit with about 1" of space. I hear that it is now a little wider. Not sure. We hung out on that trail for a good few hours and only 3 very modified Jeeps came through. Other than that it was empty.

I need to get out of here before I pack up the wife and kids and move to California.

No man, I replaced the bulb.

It's a super common issue with old 80s, there is an entire 25 page thread about it...

In my 100 and my 80, both D lights are out and I wouldn't have it any other way. I don't need the green light in the dash always on ;)

Drove it out to Arkansas with my dad and rolled 416k miles on the way. I built up his new bike and got to break mine in on some of those glorious NWA trails. Also hauled some pipe. Cruised along perfectly. Looking forward to heading out to Utah and Colorado for Spring Break here in several weeks.

As if turbos aren’t enough. Started making NV4500 to HF2A adapters. Lasered up an acrylic guide to check for clearances. :p

I've had one laying around for a couple of years. It will be a while before I have the money to actually do the swap.

Finally got my Front Runner table mounted to my old Slee swing out. Fits into the recessed license plate area of the tailgate like a glove.

Haven’t decided if I’m going to run it all the time and pursue more weatherproofing of the table & cutting board, or if I’m just going to throw it on for trips.

Mines been sitting around in the garage for over a year because I kept over-complicating how I wanted to mount it. At the end of the day the best solution for me just ended up being 1.75” ID tube light mounts off amazon and a bunch of stainless hardware from Ace.

Took a bit to get it all lined up perfectly but now I just leave the light mounts on the swing so I can quickly add/remove the table with just four bolts, takes about 2 minutes.
