No "D" Club

I'm almost tied with 450Cruiser for fewest miles & burned out bulb.

Got the truck at 93,200 with D light out. Doesn't bother me one bit

Boom! Light is on at 139,000 as of a couple days ago. I guess it wasnt the bulb. Damn electronics

Thanks to my 2 year old son, and after all the rockus a toddler can create while pretending to drive, my D light is on.

Light was ON until 211K. Went OFF yesterday. I read how so many folks said to leave it alone. Two "serious" fist bangs on the dash above the cluster and NOTHING... Two smacks with only the TIPS of my fingers on the middle of the clear plastic face of the cluster... and the "D" light is back on!
Yet another missed opportunity.

Mine always worked fine...now installing a diesel, 5 speed, and factory blanking plate for the PRNDL indicator in the cluster. Anyone want a functional PRNDL light off of a '96?

Got my 80 at 254k miles and no D. After reading this thread I went out and thumped the dash with my fist.....a miracle! Now, 256k miles and my D is functional.

97 lx450. 208000kms (120 ish miles)

D light just went out.... banged on dash with truck off.... now back on.

My "D" is intermittent. Usually comes back on when I replace a bulb. Currently its off.
