And 2 liquids Gasoline without ethanol and Beer with some ethanol this is whats driving us on trail. Gold Star the best beer in Israel and maybe in the world

My taste of good beer one day USA brought me very close to bar fight. It was in mountains of Colorado I was wheeling in a rented Jeep in CO and in the middle of nowhere i came to a wooden shack covered with snow smoke coming out of the chimney and meany motorbikes parking in front local bar? i stooped for burger and Beer i went in the bar was full of black leather bikers, all of the looking at me
So i stepped to the bar asked for burger and if they have Imported beer, the barmen sen no imported beer, whats wrong with local bear....
I told him I am a Jew and Jewish people have annoying way of answering a question by question
"Whats between making love in a canoe and drinking American beer?"

Totally agree. I subscribe to the Icon YouTube channel, they are incredible I watch too many of their videos. Does anyone else think the Icon FJ44's have a bit of mad-scientist / alien bloated head look with the large soft-tops? I'm sure they covered every base on these rigs but for the money I find they look a bit odd. Never seen one up close..

I came in from a track on the west side at Trona. Took a track through there to barker Ranch then Geologists Cabin. Then furnace Creek. But there is a highway that runs through the middle of death valley too. If you look at the satelite fotos or an off road GPS you will see the tracks. Top off your fuel.
Full tank plus two Jerry’s do it?

That's what I had. Just keep an eye on what you have left. The main road (190) does have a gas station near Stovepipe but it was $4.99 /gal when I passed it.

It’s all about proportions. If I commissioned one, I’d require wide 35s at a minimum with a slight poke and ideally fit 16s max 17s for a lot of sidewall. But I’m guessing you’re limited by the big brakes they use.

I’m sure with money you can have Jonathan comfortably fit 37s, but maybe he’s a Seinfeld soup dude about it.

Thats what each of us had, then you need to plan on getting to Beatty Junction or across to Pahrump or Trona depending on the direction of travel, so you can top off again. I left you a voice message and a reply on your IG.

Are those rocks on the roof of that Trooper? Not enough rocks where you live that he had to bring some home?

Mounted my extinguisher and worked a bit more on the dual battery kit I will be selling. I will update that thread either tonight or tomorrow. All parts and pieces are here and built up, just need to get the installation instructions written up.

Nice thing about the Element E50 extinguisher is that it will mount on the trim that covers the mechanism at the front of the seat, just under the cushion. You almost can't see it when the door is open and it moves forward and back with the seat when you adjust it. Not sure if I will leave it there, but it's an option.

This weekend I finally installed 2.5” landtank caster plates after driving around with an 850j/863 for several months without any correction.
Easy install after seeing this:
Land Tank Caster correction plates for 2.5 inch lift.

Seems to wander much less on the highway.

I also did a tire rotation.

Went blizzard camping solo in eastern AZ, by accident.

I am not a great outdoorsman; but, survival usually doesn’t depend on being great, it’s prep.

1. Crisis is more about decisions you make before sh!+ hits the fan.

2. Prep for 2x the amount of people for everything from sleeping bags to food.

3. Have a Land Cruiser 80 as your getaway vehicle.

Arrived at 10am Saturday on the Mogollon Rim (7,500’ elev.) foraged for dead wood, lit a fire, made lunch/dinner, sleep by 7:30pm.

FYI, noticed my tires dug into the snow around 7” while looking for a camp spot pic 1). Supposed to start snowing at 8pm.

Decided to leave if snow got up to 6”, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to find my tracks at night. Slept on and off from 7:30pm to 1am.

1am the blizzard hit, visibility ~ 12’ from windshield, winds around 20mph—loaded up rig and made my getaway by 1:18am—got lost 1x and had to get out to find the tracks, backtrack and start again.

These are all before pics on the cliff where I camped.

Zona

P.S. the Rim received about 14” of "warm snow" by 9am, whatever that means.

What’s it like driving on 43’s or whatever they are? How heavy is 1 wheel/tire? Stock axle?
One cruiser on 42*14,5 Goodyear wrangler, another on low pressure tire 1300*700mm made by avtoros. Weight is about 84 kilograms. Rear exle stock, 5.3 gear, front axle made from rear. Engine and transmission stock. Rides good :)

I have the same spring package and did the 4" landtank caster plates. I haven't aligned it yet. Curious what your numbers come out to be vs mine. Mine were a PAIN to install due to all the drilling through multiple plates of steel. I see the 2.5 plates look much more friendly to install. But totally worth all the drilling, drives like a dream now!
